No, we don’t deduct from your listed price. Instead, we add a 9% service fee on top of your price at checkout. This way, you receive 100% of the price you set for your products.
Suppliers who join during 2025 will not pay any onboarding or membership fee. Starting in 2026, a supplier onboarding fee will apply to all new participants.
After a buyer places an order, the system automatically generates an order confirmation for you through our Shopify + Webkul marketplace platform. You can manage and track your orders directly from your Webkul vendor dashboard, including uploading invoices if needed.
All payments are processed through our Shopify-based marketplace using the Webkul Multi Vendor Marketplace app.Payout schedules, payment methods, and rules (e.g., paid after fulfillment or delivery) are configured inside Webkul. Our team will walk you through this during onboarding so you’ll know exactly when and how you’ll get paid.
No. World Collective is a marketplace - we don’t hold bulk inventory from suppliers.We only hold up to 2 meters per fabric for swatching purposes at our studio and warehouse partner.For regular orders, you (the supplier) handle fulfillment, shipping, and all order management - just like you would with any direct customer.

It’s important to meet the lead times you publish on your listings. If delays arise, notify our team immediately so we can communicate with the buyer and manage expectations.
World Collective’s team manages all front-facing communication with buyers regarding order status, shipping, and returns. However, we may reach out to you for product-specific questions or lead time clarifications.
Once onboarded, you’ll receive access to your Webkul vendor dashboard on Shopify. From there, you can upload new products, update prices, manage inventory, and edit listings anytime.
You (the supplier) are responsible for setting your shipping rates and delivery zones inside your Webkul vendor dashboard. Buyers will see your shipping rates at checkout. We’ll help configure your shipping profile during onboarding.
Yes. If you want to offer made-to-order or pre-order fabrics, just let our team know during onboarding. We’ll help you set appropriate lead times and messaging for buyers.
Absolutely! While we started with fabrics, World Collective now supports yarns, trims, and other sustainable materials. If you’re unsure whether a product fits, just ask our team before listing.
We prioritize suppliers with recognized sustainability certifications (like GOTS, Oeko-Tex, GRS, BCI, etc.). While not every product must be certified, we require proof for any sustainability claims made on your listings.
We regularly feature suppliers in marketing campaigns, buyer newsletters, and social media highlights. You’ll also have opportunities to participate in sampling campaigns, traceability pilots (like DPP), and other supplier spotlights.

MOQs (Minimum Order Quantities) vary by supplier. You can filter fabrics by MOQ using the filter menu on the left under “Source Now”.
Yes! You can filter by Fiber Content, Fabric Construction, MOQ, Price, and Country of Origin.
Yes. Through our Demand Aggregation initiative, smaller brands can collectively reach supplier MOQs. Look for group-buy eligible fabrics on the product page.
Sampling
Click “Order Sample” on any product page. You'll be redirected to the sample checkout. Each sample costs $0.80.
Most samples are approximately 8x8 inches (20x20 cm), but size may vary slightly by supplier.
Yes. You can add multiple swatches to your sample cart and check out in one go.
Shipping & Fulfillment
Our fabrics ship directly from each supplier’s warehouse. You’ll receive individual tracking numbers per order.
Suppliers are located globally, but primarily across Europe, India, the U.S., and Latin America. Country of origin is listed on each product page.
Yes. We ship samples and production orders to most countries. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout.
